Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.2.1 Update Review
Reviewed on March 14th, 2012
Minecraft Pocket Edition has received its second big update on iOS and Android today. The biggest addition to the new update is pigs. There is still no crafting, but there were also some other noteworthy additions.
Another new feature for the iPad is the new inventory slots on the game screen, growing from only three slots to seven. Also there is a new control option called Split-Touch controls and it will only perform an action where your cross-hair is positioned. Without this option active, the action will happen where you hover your finger. In addition, using this option will make you lose the new on-screen inventory slots on the iPad version and you’ll be left with only three. This may be a bug in the update.
In Creative mode you now can ascend or descend by touch and dragging up or down from the center of the controls.
Other parts of the update include bug fixes ; dark tree trunk was impossible to pick up, invisible fences, resource items in the world were always bright, pixelated destruction feedback circle
Overall there aren’t many changes, but there is definitely being improvements made even if they are tiny ones. We look forward to the next update.
