Vikersund Ski Flying App Review
Reviewed on March 14th, 2012
Vikersund Ski Flying is a ski flying game set at the location of the World 2012 Ski Flying Championships. The game gives the player the ability to fly high. But will it land on both skis?
The controls seem simple enough. You tap the screen to start, then again to jump off the ramp. On Easy mode you just simple tap the screen to land right before you hit the ground. In Normal mode you have to use right and left arrows to position your skis parallel to the ground then tap the screen in the middle to land properly. Your freestyle in between jump and landing, combined with the length of your jump decide your scores.
What is missing in this game is a lack of different levels. There is only one level in fact, so the gameplay becomes repetitious very quickly. There are up to three players that can play on the same device in one game, trading off between jumps.
Overall this game has good gameplay, but is lacking in content and replay value and for that reason I can’t recommend it.
